A good semi-aged Sheng Pu'er from the Bu Lang Mountains.

We discovered this tea in Menghai where one of our partners offered it. While sipping it along with other other samples a few of his friends joined to get ready for the water splashing festival. The all started smoking cigarettes, which obviously distracted my senses. So, i brought a cake home and found myself reaching out for it more often. It has a nice type of more humid storage, which makes this tea taste already semi-aged, while actually not being that old. After messaging back and forth we managed to get hold of the remaining cakes.
The wrapper used to mention the current president of the US along with a few puns in Mandarin. While it's a fun historical item, we decided to re-wrap the cakes with a positive message.
This tea has been stored in Menghai for 9 years and this has transformed the tea into a thick sweet brew with hints of more humid storage. It still has a typical Bu Lang bitterness.
This is overall a very nice tea.

Camellia Sinensis Assamica - small leave
For all our Puerh teas we recommend Gong Fu style brewing using 5-8g of tea on 100ml water. Rinse the tea briefly and then do repeating steeps (up to 6-12) of 10-20 seconds.
