A high quality 2010 Yi Wu Pu'er with a dry storage.
A high quality 2010 Yi Wu Pu'er with a dry storage. This tea is fairly densely pressed, so it takes a few steeps to fully open up. Hence, the first steeps are quite light but do have soft mouthfeel.
The following cups are exposing a bit of an aged flavour with a floral note. Nothing is too prominent while sipping, though later the taste expands fully with a light astringency.
Light aged flavour with a floral note
Blend of various ecologically grown bushes and trees
Kunming dry storage (probably has seen some more humid storage at some point)
Yiwu Mountain, Xishuangbanna, Yunnan, China
Spring 2010
Camellia Sinensis Assamica - large leave
For all our Puerh teas we recommend Gong Fu style brewing using 5-8g of tea on 100ml water. Rinse the tea briefly and then do repeating steeps (up to 6-12) of 10-20 seconds.
